Biscom is sunsetting support of the FAXCOM SOAP API at the end of 2023.
Biscom is committed to delivering secure, reliable connections for our fax solutions. With this in mind, Biscom has developed a modern REST API to provide a better experience for our customers. Moving to the REST API provides many benefits, including:
Flexibility – REST gives the ability to transfer data as plain text, HTML, XML, and JSON.
Performance –REST improves fax performance in three ways: quicker processing due to reduced message sizes, caching, and giving access to data locally.
Scalability – REST allows for stateless and layered architecture, removing the need for applications to store states between requests that impact bandwidth.
Increased Security – REST Supports HTTPS protocol without adding any additional encryption services.
To ensure customers get the most secure and stable integrations with our API, we are asking all customers to migrate to the REST API and will discontinue customer support of the SOAP API at the end of 2023.
This change only affects organizations currently using the FAXCOM SOAP API. To determine if your organization is using the SOAP API check for a server in your FAXCOM Web Service within Faxcom Suite Administrator.
For On-Prem and Hybrid Customers only:
